On Tuesday, a Fairfax County patent attorney was arrested for threatening the life of President Obama and his chief of staff, Rahm Emanuel.

The man, who goes by the name of Adam Albrett as well as Muhannad Almahmoudi, was born in Lebanon and graduated from the University of Virginia Law School in 1997. According to court documents, he sent a message to the White House Correspondence Office through their website, Secret Service agents traced the message to an IP address matching a computer in Albrett's home.

According to a sworn statement filed by a U.S. Secret Service agent, the White House Correspondence Office received a message through its Web site on May 14 that read:

"THIS IS NOT A JOKE...Inform the FBI, CIA, U.S. Military and DOJ that I am going down to DC to blow the brains out of OBAMA unless he vacates the White House and I am going to shoot up the place and Rham if I see him... THIS IS NOT A JOKE...I am going to leave Mara at home with water and some food..."

The message included contact information for Albrett, and Secret Service agents traced the message back to an IP address linked to Albrett's home, court documents said. Albrett's brother reportedly told authorities that Albrett lives alone. His sister said Albrett has a dog named Mara.

in an average month? Not I didn't say avg. YEAR! I know there have been many more threats on THIS President's life than any in the past, but I have to admit, I didn't think they were coming from Lebonese people. What the hell is tHIS guys problem?

they probably jumped all over it. And the white supremist who make these statements get off with a slap on the wrist. What ever happened to all those people who called and emailed congress when the Health Care Bill was passed. Even the person who cut the gas line was never caught.
