that gushing pipe feed is bullsh*t...
it's currently 6:25pm eastern time, and the time stamp on there says 0700 something. I know this is crap because if you look at the other feed of basically nothing 9the pipes and such), the time stamp is 100 percent on time. So quit looking at the pipe until about 1am tonight when it will probably start gushing 100 times more. sorry.

1. Are you watching the bp feed? CNN has 5 screens up in the background, and
they are supposedly the ones that Congress has access to. I don't think they'd try to run a scam on Congress, not with all the trouble they're already in.

5. I take it you don't
know the difference between Military Time and Central Standard Time?
There is a 12+ hour difference between 0700 something and 6:30 CST

8. the 0 in front of the 7
Edited on Wed May-26-10 06:23 PM by conscious evolution
Mil time has a zero in front of the AM hours. After 12 noon the hours count up to 24.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/24-hour_clock

Pretty much any type of military or business venture that runs 24 hours a day non stop uses Mil Time to keep confusion between AM and PM at a minimum.

9. It is a Leap of Faith
to induce from the leading zero that the display is a 24-hour rather than a twelve-hour clock, especially since a 12-hour clock gives approximately the correct answer when adjusted for the time zone change.
