RFK: ROVE AND ROVE’S BRAIN, ‘SHOULD BE IN JAIL,’ NOT IN OFFICE
Published May 7th, 2007 in Articles, Interviews & Chats, Podcasts, Audio Reports
Monday, May 7, 2007

NEW YORK — Voting rights attorney Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has called for prison time for the new US Attorney for Arkansas, Timothy Griffin and investigation of Griffin’s former boss, Karl Rove, chief political advisor to President Bush.

“Timothy Griffin,” said Kennedy,”who is the new US attorney in Arkansas, was actually the mastermind behind the voter fraud efforts by the Bush Administration to disenfranchise over a million voters through ‘caging’ techniques - which are illegal.”

..Kennedy, a voting rights attorney, fumed, “What he (Griffin) did was absolutely illegal and he should be in jail. Instead (Griffin) was rewarded with the US Attorney’s office.”

“They (Griffin, Rove and their confederates at the RNC) knew it was illegal.”

2. What is the matter with RFK jr's voice?
Forgive me, I've probably missed a DU discussion of this, but I heard him on NPR today and his voice sounded awful.

20. After a few minutes it is not noticed.
His knowledge makes his speech effortless. His conviction keeps it unparsed.

3. I don't care what anyone says, I love the Kennedy's not fearing
to speak against the norm....I don't expect perfection from anyone, amazing the amount of flack this family gets from republicans, perhaps they should have been worrying about their own considering how out of hand that party has gotten....

22. It shows that money does not necessarily prevent good deeds
The difference between the words and deeds of the Kennedys vs. the Bushies is night and day. Money doesn't have to corrupt. You can actually use it for good.

9. ROVE'S LOST E-MAIL is part of the evidence. "Palast obtained 500 of these"
From the article:

"On one page of the book, Palast reproduces a copy of a confidential Bush-Cheney campaign email, dated August 26, 2004, in which Griffin directs Republican operatives to use the ‘caging’ lists."

"This is one of the emails subpoenaed by Congress but supposedly “lost” by Rove’s office. Palast obtained 500 of these, fifty with ‘caging’ lists attached."

========================

AMAZING. What we need is a People's Court--more Articles of Impeachment in Congress--since the DOJ is deeply involved in the crimes and the cover-up.

11. Is this the GOP's Clue One on which e-mails the Justice Comm. has??
I would not be surprised if Palast has already talked to the Comm. investigators.

16. RFK, Jr. needs to be the Atty. General if a Dem gets in the white house.
Just another reason I DON'T want Hillary, Obama, Edwards, or any of the other plastic candidates to get the nom. They'd appoint some "politically correct" cabinet that would keep the status quo. We need some REAL MUSCLE to be appointed to cabinet posts if this country is ever going to get back on track.

27. Wish granted!
Today's headlines about the Muslim men in NJ allegedly conspiring to kill our military personnel is tailor-made for this situation. Distract the MSM and their sheep from matters at hand.

Hmmmmm.

21. I saw Palast and Robert Kennedy, Jr. in NYC last week. Kennedy's speech was
powerful, one of the best I've ever heard. It really tied together everything the rightwingers have been doing, with a strong focus on Saint Ronnie's destruction of the Fairness Doctrine. Kennedy used the word fascist several times in his speech. His book of a couple of years ago, "Crimes Against Nature," remains perhaps the best book written about the bush regime.
