It's a long, long, rough road to try to travel in the Gulf now,

both literally and figuratively. We have seen some beautiful creatures already reach the end of theirs unfortunately. I fear the road will be so long for so many that they will tire before the road ends.

I don't know what to do now except wonder and worry. I sometimes feel that I am angry at almost everything and then I am saddened by it all too. If I feel like this at this distance, those in the eye must be spinning, numb, or in some other horrible state of mind.

Because of disasters of all kinds, a lot of people near the Gulf and on this Earth that we share are also on their own long roads. They appear for all of us at some point, and some people on DU are walking one now.

I need to remember to try to help anybody I can, however I can, to make it down their rugged path. I forget all too often that I am not the center of the universe or even close. I may need a hand to travel too sometime.

I offer this for all of us. WE are in this together. I have to keep reminding myself of that when I begin to rage or want to stop.

we are all in this together at some point. and the most we can do for the least of our fellow earth inhabitants is so very important. (animal, ecosystem or human)
