Rand Paul = David Duke with a little more 'polish'

I haven't heard this crap since coming out of the mouths of candidates since 1965...

The "Doctor" appellation before his name is particularly nauseating, as though this particular member of the lucky sperm club, who got himself a medical degree, is therefore somehow more qualified to insinuate himself into public policy issues than the average individual. Medical School, Dental School, and Veterinary School and the associated residencies thereof are not exploratory venues into which intellectually curious people go to develop their political, philosophical, and/or economic selves. They are - and I certainly should know - places wherein there is what we used to call "intellectual taxidermy" - you are stuffed full of knowledge after your ego has been destroyed. Whether or not you rebuild said ego is up in the air - it, as Bob Dole would say: Depends...
Now I'm not saying that dopes get through necessarily, and I'm not saying it's easy at all whatsoever - in fact, it's most difficult - but I'll tell you that I for one do not go by my "Doctor" credentials when arguing politics or religion.

This particular creepazoid had best better lose this race. is all I have to say.
