For years the marine scientists here in Florida have warned about drilling in the gulf. I've seen them at lunches, ecology lectures, and at local public meetings.

If you so much as spill a galleon of oil into the water at the dock, you risk a big fine. None of the current candidates for Senate or Governor have put drilling on their TV ads that I've seen; it will be interesting to see what they do over the next few weeks. Bill Nelson has done some stuff on his web site.
