A New Law Was Passed That I Wasn't Aware Of
It used to be when pulling up to 4-way stop that the person to the right had the right of way.

but now, apparently, it's the person talking on the cell phone who has the right of way.

I really should keep up with my local statutes.

1. And left turns
And entry onto freeways.
And in parking lots.

Cell phone use is the basis for the right of way anywhere they are driving near as I can tell.

2. The next to the last picture...the vehicle is in PARK, so they aren't going anywhere.
Plus, the traffic in the oncoming lane appears to be moments away from a head-on collision.

And yes, I do believe cell phone use while operating a vehicle trumps all traffic laws.

Reminds me of the spoiled Palm Beach girl years ago who caused a huge accident on I-95 because she was late for her tanning appointment! Several people died in that accident, the girl responsible for it all was not one of them. (Unfortunately. I'm sure she's making someone's life pure hell right now.)

3. I alsways thought it was the most aggressive driver that has the right of way

however, in my town we have jokesters who jump on the pedal the instant the driver they're facing opposite goes forward--Two cars cross the 4-way at the same time. I wish they would stop, (the law is one at a time, no?) But it seems to save about 30 seconds, so I assume they will continue until a troop of girl scouts are run down or something.

4. Donuts. Breakfast of Champions !!
Booyah, and if you can drive and eat a donut, you SHOULD be able to talk on the phone too.

5. Now driving while talking on a cell phone while eating a donut is just gross:
how are you going to really enjoy the fatty goodness of the donut while distracted by your cellphone conversation?

6. And apparently using turn signals is now entirely optional.
Either that, or everyone I see is out of blinker fluid.

7. I don't understand why people can't pony up 20 bucks and get
a hands free system so they don't have to wreck after dropping the cell phone on the floor for the millionth time.

8. They still have their VCR hooked up, with the display flashing "12:00, 12:00, 12:00"
And they pay a Geek Squad tech $15/hr to plug in their new wireless mouse.

just yesterday I rear ended a car while looking for my cell phone!

Thank God, there were no damages..Not even a scratch on my car or the other -- but it REALLY woke me up about the dangers of cell-phone use (and other distractions) while driving!

I didn't know the "hands free" thing was so cheap...I am DEFINITELY getting one.

P.S. As for the picture of the woman putting on makeup...I hear some guys SHAVE while they drive too!

Edited for punctuation.
