Alabama GOP Gubernatorial Candidate Attacked For Lack Of Jesusness
I swear, I laughed till I cried.
This was too good to keep it confined to the Alabama Forum.

Wonkette on Alabama governor's race.

Alabama GOP Gubernatorial Candidate Attacked For Lack Of Jesusness
The article is hilarious, but the comments are priceless.
"I hear he (Roy Moore) dated a girl who wasn't his cousin once.
You know what they say, "If he ain't good enough for kin, he ain't good enough for Alabama."

3. But who would want 'em! Maybe the Taliban would take them, seem to have
similar authoritative control freak traits to me.

4. These goons have much in common with the other goons (Taliban)
and related Islamic fundamentalist radicals. This was a real eye opener....

5. The 'truerepublican.com' website is funded by teachers' union.
That's the one attacking Byrne for his lack of 'Jesusness'.
The Alabama Education Association (AEA) is our state's teachers' union.
The head of the union, Paul Hubbert, is arguably the most powerful non-state-office-holder politician in the state.

The usually Democratic voting union is dead set against charter schools, which Byrne advocates.
So they're acusing him of being a...eeuuwww...LIBRUL!
Which they, generally are.
But to be labeled liberal in Alabama is the end of any political aspirations you might have.

It's just a goddam zoo down here.
Some of the dirtiest, lying-est commercials I've seen in the 17 years I've been back in the state.
But that's Alabama.
:-(
