Just how much wildlife will be killed by BP oil washing ashore? How many decades will the environment be polluted? How much of the crucial Gulf Coast wetlands be destroyed?

There should be NO limits to liability for corporate-created calamities. If they don't have the money or resources, their businesses should be sold off to pay their victims restitution. The responsible action would be to demand the return of 'corporate death penalty' laws in cases where corporate abuses or ineptness cause great harm to human beings or the environment. Maybe then we would begin to see corporations acting ethically, morally and responsibly.

2. I was just thinking, I'd sure hope that the courts hammer the hell out of BP for this

literally, 100's of billions in settlements and eco damage are going to be done. They should either be forced to pay or sold off.
