1. It's time to scrap all the garbage related to the so-called 'war' on
both 'terror' and 'drugs' and restore the Republic to it's pre-fascist configuration, in my opinion.

5. Yes. Nobody should be deprived of liberty for being merely suspected of something.
If law enforcement people have enough information to ARREST someone, or if a government has enough information to INDICT someone, that is the level at which restrictions on freedom are acceptable.

Police have always kept lists of suspects. That is necessary for them to do their jobs effectively. But a suspect list should NEVER be used as a basis for arbitrarily depriving a person of the freedom to move around, or to vote, or to have a speedy trial by jury, or to keep and bear arms, or to speak freely, or to petition the government for redress, or to express religion...

6. the no-fly list is a tool
and if we are stupid about maintaining and using this tool, than it will be ineffective and perhaps counter-productive.

Security and liberty are on opposite sides of the balance. All we have to do is provide the optimum amount of security and liberty.

Having a list, thousands of entries long and mostly full of people who shouldn't be on it, hurts both our liberty and our security (a shorter more concise list would be easier to maintain and enforce).

Having a list that is not continuously updated and checked by the fucking airlines, is an infuriatingly stupid use of the list. I don't know why an APB can't be sent out to every airline, at every airport to watch for a suspect in a situation like this.

Fortunately Faisal was still caught, but damn, how the fuck did he get on that airplane when I can't even get on with a full size tube of toothpaste and bottle of water??? It makes me sick.

7. What I don't understand is that
all the security measures being undertaken could not stop this dude from planting
an explosives in Times Square, they knew about him but allowed him back into the
country to do this shit? Once again we the law abiding citizen has been had once
more.

How is this possible, what possible explanation can they give us that would look
sane. They are desperate to find Obamas Katrina that they are working overtime
just to let things happen.

9. But aren't maggots sometimes used positively?
What will be the results if we get rid of all flies?
