I wish to make three points:
1. It seems that there are no Congressmen or Senators from the Republican Party who resign in swing districts. It also seems that the political obituary of the Democratic Party is being scripted by the MSM and they allow no successes to stand in the way of the 'inexorable' fall.

2. I am in the process of restoring a car (1970 Volvo P1800) and have been working on parts of the car which have enormous amounts of old grease, road tar, and oily substances. Cleaning all these parts, and my hands and harms afterwards, is a giant nightmare. And it's nothing...NOTHING compared with what the same volume (low) of material would be if it were crude oil of the type being rocketed into the Gulf waters from the BP well. The gigantic volume of this material is incomprehensible and, as with astronomical distances, annual U.S. budgets, and odds against winning the Powerball lottery, beyond most people's ability to understand and deal with rationally. Terrifying...just terrifying. and there are no Bruce Willis', or Sean Connerys, or Justice Leagues of America who can fix this.

3. I will not be posting any other opinions in re: the SPYCAM scandal which occurred at my kid's school. I will leave it to the good graces of others here to state the case against the District, for I cannot deal with the few folk who insist upon having a point of view which is not only an anathema to me politically, but antithetical to everything I feel personally in regard to this outrage.

I thank you for your attention.

1. I love the P1800.
It's been a long dream of mine to restore one like yours. I'm guessing yours has 4 wheel discs? I only wish that Volvo had seen fit to give it a bit more power. Good luck with that cleaning.

3. I bought rust with a P1800 attached...
working hard...not easy...

There's a great club on Yahoo, P1800 owners, with lots of terrific people and even better advice and help. Great folk...

2. a few thoughts....
Point 1: MSM is trying to orchestrate a scrip as they are so wanton to do and it is time for us to turn that script on its head.

Point 2: Offshore drilling has always been a disaster waiting to happen and pair with that the depths they were drilling with this rig, well enough said. As always it will be the little guy and the innocent creatures who will pay the price. The gluttonous pigs will scurry safely to their golden caves.

Point3: The SPYCAM scandal was/is a total affront to decency and privacy. The kids were violated plain and simple and heads should roll.

Just my thoughts in response to yours:-)
