I'm so afraid that Bush will do something stupid when he meets the Queen.
I mean, as crazy as it sounds, I could see that simpleton create a Faux Pas.

...like patting her on the shoulder and saying something like "wanna hear a neat Joke?."
"A Jew and a Chink go into a Bar...."

Or worse...give her a bear hug or some other dumb-ass thing.

Please tell me he wouldn't do anything like that...Please..

3. Why does it matter?
Edited on Fri May-04-07 09:32 PM by nam78_two
It won't be the first or last time he does ? He has already given the Chancellor of Germany a neck massage. He routinely does that stuff. The Queen at least isn't someone who was elected by her people. But then I am not a big fan of the "royals" :).

4. Get ready.
He's programmed to fuck up.

He'll tell a Kraut joke to the Queen.

He'll wear his codpiece.

There WILL be an incident.

...or maybe say something really inappropriate, such as, "Hey, Queenie!", or "Hey, Liz! I can call you Liz...right? You can call me The Commander Guy! <wink wink>", or maybe even, "I'm all in white tonight! Just call me The White Man!"

...is the whole notion of royalty in the 21st century. A collection of dysfunctional, inbred oddballs with no obvious talents who live a parasitic existence? Come on.

That's the only reason I couldn't care less what Bush does around her. Actually, two useless people like that deserve to have to spend time together.

25. Exactly! Who gives a crap about that person?
Royal my ass...Bush has done so many worse thigs than "insult" this person.
Why someone is considered a "Royal" in this day and age, I will never get :eyes:...

Are the royals supposed to be inherently superior or something? If you honestly believe that all people are born equal, why is someone who has not even done anything particularly noteworthy on their own accord, considered so far above everyone else. Just for being born into a position and filling it?

Its ridiculous.

22. Saint Ronnie and Nancy did a few dumb ass things when
the Queen and Consort visited them. I'm sure Dumbya will do his stupid ass stuff as well, maybe really bad stupid stuff too. The Queen, I'm almost certain, is expecting it. Of course with our new press it probably won't be reported like it was in the past.

She's a queen, in name only and he thinks he's a king. They deserve each other!

They both can go take a long walk off a short pier, as far as I'm concerned!!

If we're lucky it will be something relatively minor like talking with his mouth full, rather than a really major faux pas like slapping her on the ass.

26. He'll offer his hand for her to shake, which is inappropriate
to do unless the lady offers hers first, IIRC, never mind a queen. I htink he did that once before, but it was another queen.

He can't help but embarrass us all. His arrogant desire to make an ass of himself and offend people is a huge part of his persona.

28. Too late
In 1991, Bush famously appeared wearing cowboy boots at a White House dinner given by his father for the Queen and cheerily informed her of the inscription on the heels: "God save the Queen." A frosty frown appeared on the royal brow, an eon passed, many feet shuffled all around. Convinced that understatement or sarcasm would be lost on the man standing before her, the Queen asked bluntly: "Are you the black sheep of your family?" Bush replied in the affirmative and shot back: "Who's the black sheep in your family?"...In 1991, Bush famously appeared wearing cowboy boots at a White House dinner given by his father for the Queen and cheerily informed her of the inscription on the heels: "God save the Queen." 36. Operation British Freedom
He'll offer her a $60,000-a-year (plus bribes) post as head of a "Free Britain Committee" and offer 10,000 troops to liberate Britain from European/French oppression and get that stuff in the commie British Museum onto the collectors' market where it belongs.

Or maybe he'll just ask "Say, Queenie, you Brits got any oil left?" which is pretty much the same thing.
