So CNN has this poll up on how the President is handling the oil leak crisis...
...and the results are fucking predictable:

Do you approve of the way President Obama has handled the Gulf of Mexico oil spill?

Yes 53% 125151
No 47% 111623

As per fucking usual the teabaggers and their minions flood such a poll because he's "THE BLACK ONE" with their vindictive noes. The guy could don a Superman cape, cure every ill that ails this country and these motherfucking lowlife snake dicks would still say no.

1. You do realize that Obama's calling for more offshore drilling
Because it's safe.

That's a good response?

6. Actually, if you bother to check....
.. he's said more LEASES, those are for the companies to put some assets on the books (just like the Saudis) to let them be competitive.. would have been 10 or more years before any drilling would take place... maybe now 100 years.

10. Most leases sit fallow. They will drill a well, then cap it. It's an asset and that

13. Of Course, We Blame Obama And Not The Drill Baby Drill Crowd...
Who is filibustering climate change legislation, denouncing raising fuel efficiency standards (look up Darrell Issa), and denouncing any attempt at regulation as socialism.

20. You don't read the news much, do you?
First, he put a moratorium on all off-shore drilling. Then, he allowed contracts for limited drilling - a fraction of what Bushco authorized. Now, he's put another moratorium on all off-shore drilling and ordered further safety research.

Please get your facts straight.

22. My Facts Are Perfectly Straight
Why don't you tell us how long that delay is?

And I read "more drilling" as "more drilling" - do you think it's "less drilling"?

8. I'd love it if they had a two-part poll, the second part being "Do you approve
of the way President Bush handled the Katrina crisis?"

It would probably be Yes 53%, No 47% :7

16. Change the question to "do you approve of the way President Obama has handled ANYTHING, EVER?"
Edited on Mon May-03-10 12:06 AM by DaveinJapan
and your results percentage-wise would be pretty much the same.

Sad but true.

17. Why don't they ask how BP is handling it?
When did corporate error become the federal government's problem? This is becoming a very expensive habit amongst the insufficiently taxed.

Remember them CNN? BP... and the rest of the oil industry "experts". How are they doing? Maybe you'd like to poll that question.

BP, government, independent groups-EVERYONE! This is a National emergency now; if you aren't part of the solution then you're just part of the problem.

27. The poll is as meaningless and unscientific as all the other online polls
that so many here cry out for them to be DUed. Can anyone imagine Gallup trying to pass off such a poll as legitimate?
