Thoughts on Dan Rather, James O'Keefe, and Judith Miller
Dan Rather got duped by a faked document from wingnut fakers. Although he got the story basically right, the duping by a fake document effectively ended his career.

The New York Times and virtually the entire CorpoPravda establishment were duped by wingnut liar and criminal O'Keefe. Compliantly and enthusiastically duped, I might add. As far as I know, no one in CorpoPravda ever saw, or even asked to see, unedited tape of his scam. They were all duped by a fake document/film that was a complete fabrication of what it claimed to show. They all got the story of what actually happened completely wrong. None of them issued any disclaimers that they hadn't viewed the unedited tape, that they hadn't even asked to see it, and none of them reported the other side of the story with any of the enthusiasm and creaming in their jeans that they did for the fake story.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it: Name every CorpoPravda apologist and protector whose career was ended by being duped by a wingnut forgery and running with the story for weeks while not paying any attention at all to the other side of the story, the true story, and thus getting the entire story wrong.
