Greg Palast: HILLARY’S Mother-F'ing tour business (MUST-READ)
Edited on Fri May-04-07 04:37 PM by Adenoid_Hynkel
Before his untimely death in a plane crash, Commerce Secretary Ron Brown said, “I’m not Hillary’s mother-f****** tour guide!”

That wasn’t a nice thing for a member of the President’s cabinet to say about the First Lady, now my Senator, Hillary Clinton.

And it’s probably not polite for me to bring it up now. But if I don’t, surely the Karl Rovarians will - if Senator Mrs. Clinton nails the Presidential nomination.

Bill Clinton used to say that, once he became president, he finally earned more money than his wife. That was a carefully crafted bit of modesty to show Bill as an aw-shucks regular guy versus Richie Rich-kid George Bush.

2. It's amazing how quick DUers attack Palast
when it's their crooked dynasty he's going after

Nominating Hillary will, in effect, kill all the momentum of the hard work of activists and the netroots over the last 6 years to get this party and country back on track

22. Are you disputing the facts of the story? Or do you just not like the facts?
If publishing facts is objectionable to you, perhaps you are on the wrong web site...

16. Yup. Palast is one of the world's best investigative journalists, imho.
Edited on Fri May-04-07 07:09 PM by w4rma
He had to move from the U.S. to Britain and work for the BBC because his investigations go after corruption among the truly powerful people in America.

I've noticed that there isn't one single post refuting Palast's investigation. Not one. Just personal attacks from the Hillary zealots towards the messenger.

3. Well,well, well!
Interesting reading. Thanks for posting. And to think that Kathy Lee Gifford took so much flack for the child labor thing for Wally World. Makes you wonder about who was really to blame. I have never trusted Hillary. This confirms it for me!

really distorted. Why did he say just before the crash? There is nothing more about the crash. But the crash in the opening sentence implies that there is something in the article, because he could have used the actual date and now had us taking a side trip. The implications is Clinton planned the crash. Very unfortunate and it will play right in to the hands of Jessie Helm and Dan Burton type crazies and from there it will spread fast -Greg Palast implies that Clinton killed Brown - which is what the right wing would love to hear coming from the mouth of someone like Palast who is trying to prove that George and Karl stole votes. Overly dramatic? Don't think so.

What exactly is the new information that made Palast write this now?

Bill Clinton is not cleared about dealings in Indonesia and Timor.

But isn't the bank stuff settled? Except in the eyes of the Burtons.

Palast just plummeted in my way of looking at things. Goodbye, Greg! G o o d b yyyyyeee!

9. Well, it was totally out of line - over dramatic, and really crummy -
and it started me off thinking that I was going to read something about the crash. Very stupid.

11. Palast voted for Nader?
But I will agree that this article doesn't seem appropriate, and strikes me as more than a little smear-ish.

I voted Nader. So shoot me. Mea culpa. But it’s not snuffing Al Gores torch that’s given me this ill sensation in the pit of my stomach though let’s admit forthrightly that we did lubricate the election of Bush fils.

21. A must read article. Palast proves again he is our foremost investigative journalist.
Hillary's connections to Walmart and Entergy are practically unknown in this country, and deserve close scrutiny as she campaigns for the Democratic nomination.
