what he said about us all being racist is true. Check out the blue-eye/brown-eye experiments done in the past. Whether we like it or not, we all have racist tendencies. The key is to fight against them -- in ourselves and in others.

I will readily admit to having occasional racist reactions which I hope I have trained myself to recognize and act against. To be racist, you must have those thoughts and reactions and think them to be natural and nothing to be ashamed of.

There is a lot of crap which we must (though I doubt it is possible) unlearn. The fact that it is part of our environment from the time we are in diapers may make it seem like it is inborn, but it is not.
