has any republican criticized the Arizona law?
I've looked around a little, I couldn't find any.

Are they all on board with this?

1. That's a silly question
Unless their leaders, Beck, Limbaugh & Palin profess opposition to it, they know better than to utter anything critical.

2. ...
http://thinkprogress.org/2010/04/25/kristol-az-immigration/

"In fact, while many conservatives like Kristol have offered support for the law, a number have also denounced it. “There’s no such thing” as “American-looking,” Mike Huckabee said. Charles Krauthammer noted that it “could lead to a lot of civil rights abuses” and Fox News’ Judge Andrew Napolitano said that by signing the bill, Brewer is bankrupting the state because of “all the lawsuits that will happen — for all the people that are wrongfully stopped.”

...

Despite conservative opposition to the Arizona law, other Republicans aren’t taking much of a stand either way. When asked if he supported it on Fox News Sunday this morning, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) dodged, simply saying, “I haven’t studied it.” And on CNN today, Sen. Saxby Chambliss (R-GA) said, “If that’s what the people want to do, certainly they have that right.” Former Alaska governor Sarah Palin didn’t say whether she supports the law, but praised Brewer for signing it. “So more power to Jan Brewer for deciding that she was taking on an issue” she said, adding that “it is a states’ rights issue.” "

3. Right, Sarah, who cares if it's unconstitutional?
Gotta love how she doesn't even know the hole she is digging for herself; I'm beginning to believe she doesn't mean to run in 2012. Unless it's just to collect a bunch of money.

4. Has any repubs criticized the Arizonz law?
Lindsey Graham is threatening to to pull out of environmental discussions if the Dem's tackle immigration reform this year. it should be noted that he is one of the sponsors of the bill.

7. Wha?
U.S. Sen. John McCain threw his support toward the measure on Monday.

“I think the people of Arizona understandably are frustrated and angry,” the Arizona Republican said. “It’s also a commentary on the frustration that our state Legislature has that the federal government has not fulfilled its constitutional responsibilities to secure our borders.”

Republican J.D. Hayworth, who is running for McCain’s Senate seat, has been issuing news releases in support of the state legislation for several weeks.

10. I knew this would be coming!
This is an email I received last night from someone I had previously asked not to email the junk. Until this he had listened but guess you can't take the red out of the republican (snark ). Email as follows:

"I didn't think it could get any worse but . . . . .
This has got to be a mandatory read!!!!

CNN News, not Fox -- You will not believe this! It just keeps getting better.. This is unbelievable!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I KNEW this was going to happen. (That way Obama wasn't lying when he said illegal's would not be able to get medical coverage under his ObamaCare plan. His simple fix is to make them all legal first...and could this have anything to do with slanting the vote in 2010 & 2012....?)
EVERY ONE--PLEASE TAKE TIME TO LISTEN TO THIS--IT TELLS ABOUT THE BILL GOING THRU CONGRESS RIGHT NOW REGARDING IMMIGRATION.
EVEN CNN IS GETTING UPSET ABOUT THIS!!!!!!!!!!
Pass this on after you watch it. NOTICE THAT THIS IS FROM CNN, NOT FOX!!!
Click on this link !!!!!!
This from CNN news: http://d.yimg.com/kq/groups/17260182/1610997888/name/ftc-vi26.wmv

If you don't get this the first time click on it again, This is hard to believe
This 3-minute video should be mandatory viewing for every US citizen.. If you have never passed anything on before, pass this on! Every American should be outraged!"
NOTE: There is a video with Lou Dobbs ranting! The link is part of the email.

12. Among those who do is the SoS
Edited on Sun Apr-25-10 09:42 PM by SargeUNN
Ken Bennett is very upset about it. He opposed it and has tried to stop it because the recent stupid laws that has put him in the middle of doing task that he feels are waste of time and stupid are now thrown to him. He is extremely upset and hates this rash of stupid.

Note: Bennett is the Arizona Sec. of State and a republican that in fact, is a decent man. We have had discussions with him at our network and while often we disagree with him on some things, we found him to be a practical man.
