We need a tattoo system to identify people... (how conservatives love government intrusions)

Oh yeah, that was already done wasn't it? But if right wing extremists had their way laws like that would be popping up everywhere. It's amazing how right wingers profess to be for less government and elimination of government intrusions into people's lives, but they always support the most abusive and invasive acts imaginable. They believe it is fine for the government to force you to pray. They believe it is fine to ban books that don't portray a right wing view of events. They think it's fine for the government to tell a woman what to do with her own body. They think it's fine for the government to dictate what you do in your bedrooms. And they think it's fine for the government to randomly approach people and demand their identity, and if a person doesn't have his 'proper papers' then he is arrested.

I have written several times about how conservatives always trust the government to start wars, spy on people. torture people, execute people and incarcerate people without charges indefinitely, but they don't trust the government to assist in the delivery of quality health care. Am I living in a Bizarro world or something? How can conservatives justify their radical and inconsistent positions? I believe their heads would explode if they realized their hypocrisy, but there aren't enough brain cells in a typical right winger to even ignite an explosion.


I'm working on a new article and I think I'm going to call it Celsius 232.8.

as they sit there and complain about their "Freedoms being taken away" yet they think all of what you've listed (and more) is just peachy dandy fine.

The only thing I can figure is that whatever freedoms that would be sacrificed, it's OK as long as it's not THEIR freedoms.

Fuck other people. As long as they get theirs, everything is just fine. And don't even THINK about giving certain freedoms to certain people!!! They also want the freedom to take away other people's freedoms.
