Canadian Drugs - do you get them, where?
Hi,
Any problems at the border to US getting packages questioned by customs or US drug control? I googled "canada pharmacy" and the 'I'm Feeling Lucky' button gave me www.CanadaPharmacy.com . Are they the best?

I need several items:
-------------------
Cialis low dose: Blue Cross only lets me have 6 pill/month even though I'm supposed to get 30, because of the cost here, I think. I'm a post RP patient.

Glaucoma medications for my mom:
------------------------------
Xylatan
Cosopt (generic)
The latter two used to be covered by our Medicare Part D, but have evidently fallen off of the round-robin Anthem Blue Cross uses to avoid covering. They are very expensive for me to get for my Mom.

Thanks,
REG

1. Here's the one I used for several years. I think I got Xylatan from them.

I know I bought Xylatan from some place because it was for my dog. She had to have the drops like 3 times a day and the local cost was killing me. I know I got her Lysodren from there.

3. I did when one of my drugs was still on patent
and it made the difference between getting the medication and not getting the medication.

As I recall, I used http://www.tcds.com/

The procedure is this: get the written prescription from your doc, fill out the brief medical history form at the site, and either mail or fax your prescription plus the history form.

A Canadian doctor reviews both and issues a new prescription in Canada. The drugs are mailed to you in the US. Refills take about ten days, so it's best to get three to six months at a time.

The DEA and post office are unmotivated to intercept packages from Canada. You can't order any schedule 2 medications like pain meds or Valium. You might get packages intercepted if you use pharmacies elsewhere, though, because they do send those drugs.

Your pills might not look the same as they do in the US. That's the only change I ever noticed in medication from Canada.

4. Thanks, I am going to do..
right away. That's cool if the drugs look different in their packaging. I know Canadian standards are potentially as high as here if not higher.

Do you remember about a year ago when CVS Pharmacy (they bought out their competitor Longs Drugs in Cali and closed the stores) was serving up phony import drugs from Asia somewhere, I believe. I was glad at the time that we were at Longs Drugs :fistbump:

5. ...not too much detail
but what I did originally was probably a no-no, using the "I'm Feeling Lucky" button. Google usually tries to exactly match your words to a URL domain name that some firm--it thinks you are attempting to remember the URL--but in this case I had no preconceived ideas. But, if you type in something like: "What is the best canadian pharmacy online?" then it gives back your link as one of the first two, www.TCDS.com

--> http://www.google.com/webhp?complete=1&hl=en#hl=en&safe=off&complete=1&q=what%27s+the+best+canadian+pharmacy%3F&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&oq=&gs_rfai=&fp=e52ec51db1076fe5

I think I'll try them with your instructions.

Thanks again,
Bob
