This Is the Most Heartbreaking Story You Will Read Today
http://gawker.com/5521156/this-is-the-most-heartbreaking-story-you-will-read-today?skyline=true&s=i

I came across this story when reading another OP here in GD. (This one: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=389x8194978)

This Is the Most Heartbreaking Story You Will Read Today

Aaron Jamison has terminal colon cancer and expects to die within nine months. Despite this, his spirits are high; he hands out bracelets that read "Cancer Sucks ... Life is Good ... Choose Joy." And also...good lord...

Aaron is trying to sell advertising space on two urns that will hold his ashes after he is cremated. He is doing this because his disability check does not cover his medical bills, and he "wants to pay for his cremation and urn costs before he dies so his wife Kristin won't have to worry about it."

"He hopes to raise $800 all together."

There is more at the link. This is just so sad.

Here is a link to his blog. http://judasforgiven.blogspot.com/

And I love this: He is taking donations. Here is his comment right above his PayPal link:

Donations are NOT tax deductible. How about a hug?

1. It sucks royally.
I wish him well, and I hope he can fund his own funeral. How sad that sounds.

3. It does suck, however, I think I agree with his wife, quirky and different
Why live your life like you are dying when you can live it like you are living? It's better to feel you are living. Two thumbs up for this guy...

5. Recommended.
I'm in.

think DU can put together a significant part of that cremation fee.

Sad, yet inspiring.
