Three Republican women take on the Florida legislature...

There are lots of "devious plans" in Fl this year as always: Jeb Bush still controls the agenda, GOP credit card scandals, dismantling pubic schools, and beach-front drilling. These gals are not exactly your typical tea-party activists, and some of us wonder if Charlie Crist is going rogue (leaning towards declaring as independent), but who knows?

Regardless, the legislature here is trying to pass a new law that makes it illegal to pay teachers for years experience or graduate degrees, and allows principals to non-renew a teacher's contract regardless of years on the job.

If you listen 3 minutes to these women, you'll hear them say that they are Republican and are fed up with these idiots. Ten years ago, I would try to get people to register or vote and the housewives like this were the hardcore base that continued to vote for the Bush's. There is nothing like a woman's scorn (when you start messing with their kids), and now I'm seeing a real backlash at the homeowner's meetings and rallies.

I'm not sure if it will show up in Nov., but the anti-school, take-a-25-year-old-off-on-a-junket, kill-the-environment legislature here may have pushed some of the base over the edge. I really hope so, because I hope to see Florida turn solid blue by 2012; and maybe the ladies are the closet voters who could do it!

Watch the video, and if you have nothing to do-email or call Gov. Crist and tell him to veto the bill; then send a few bucks to Alan Grayson!

1. Did you notice the appearance of two biggie issues...
First the announcement of the coastal drilling.. and then the teacher merit pay bill. Since the bill passed, the issue of coastal drilling has almost gone off the radar... Believe me, no matter what, the Bush's win with either development.
