STATE OF THE UNION (CNN), 9 a.m.: Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour (R); and David Simon and Wendell Pierce of the new HBO program "Treme."

THIS WEEK (ABC, WJLA), 10 a.m.: Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, Defense Secretary Robert M. Gates and former New York mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani (R).

FACE THE NATION (CBS, WUSA), 10:30 a.m.: Clinton and Gates.

2. Yet Another Sunday Circle Jerk...
I remember when the Sunday shows actually had some substance. Those days are long gone. It's the usual suspects taking their drinkie-drinkie party patter into a teevee studio. There's only spin, not real debate or information. You don't learn anything from these shows, rather it's where the red meat is thrown. Another example as how our corporate media had gotten lazy, shallow and inept.
