Am I Missing Something Here???
Martin Luther King Jr was murdered 42 years ago today! Where are the tributes????? He did a helluva lot more for this country than any fucking RABBIT ever did!

4. Well, in fairness, I think we do commemorate a lot on his birthday
But, I guess it is unusual, that JFK is remembered on the date of his assassination, while nothing on his birthday and the same albeit less so for Bobby Kennedy. MLK, by contrast is commemorated on his birthday, but not so much on the date of his death.

But, just because I am respectful of those who are religious, though I am not so, myself, I might point out that MLK was exceedingly so. I suspect he'd have been pleased if Easter remained Easter--in terms of its religious significance, and did not become remembered as the date of his tragic death.

5. He has a holiday named for him in January. I'd say that in itself is quite
a tribute. His birth is celebrated,not his death.
