Do the younger listeners know the right-radio gurus "record"?
20-something's, raised in conservative families and following politics now, would have no way of remembering the "records" of Limbaugh and Hannity. Those two radio clowns may well seem to them to be courageous patriots speaking truth to power.

But what if their "success" record could be revealed. Would young people be impressed? My dream is to one day see a video and/or audio montage that displays and represents the many air-hours devoted by Rush and Hannity to the destruction of the Clintons.

Day after day, during the Clinton years, the two centered their shows around the listing of crime and ethical breaches committed by the Clinton's. For example, they said and put guests on to corroborate, that Hillary was engaging in lesbian affairs. They also said repeatedly that she was having a fling with Vince Foster (for variety, I guess) and that she later had to kill him because he knew too much.

They also spent a lot of time drumming into people's heads that The Clinton's ran a cocaine ring down in Arkansas, and that when a couple of hapless teenage boys happened upon the operation, they were put to death by the Clinton's and laid across the railroad tracks in an attempt to cover up the crime. So where are the Clinton's now? in jail? No, one is a dignified ex-president engaged in humanitarian efforts, and the other is the United States of America's Secretary Of State!.

My point is that if people knew how far off and utterly desperate Rush and Hannity are, by looking at their past record, many young people might be surprised and they might lose some listeners due to their utter incompetence in taking down their enemies so far, if nothing else.

My real dream would be to encourage a ground swell of people to encourage one or both of them (and/or Beck) to run for political office. Once they had to answer a question, or come up with a solution, they would be exposed for what they are. can you imagine if Beck, for example, in a debate, had to list the government-run programs he would KEEP? Would he turn the fire and police duties over to Halliburton or Black water? Would we end SS? privatize the military? If government-run is so bad, why is it so good? Ok, Halliburton gets NASA and the CDC, Black water gets The Coast Guard, National Guard and military.

Rush, Beck, Hannity and others like them are one-dimensional figures, cardboard cut-outs that are getting way more credit than they deserve. In an ultimate pay-no-attention-to-the-man-behind-the-curtain moment, they need to be exposed for what they are.
