LABOR ORGANIZATIONS AND DEMOCRATIC CLUBS ENDORSE RUSS WARNER
I am so pleased to tell you all about the huge outpouring of support I am receiving for my campaign. I just learned that I have received the endorsement of both the San Bernardino and the Los Angeles County Federation of Labor, AFL-CIO, which is the second largest in the country, representing over 350 unions and over 800,000 workers.
In addition, several Democratic clubs in my 26th Congressional District have endorsed my campaign. They include the San Gabriel Valley Democratic Center, the Foothill Community Democrats and the Bonita Democratic Council.
Receiving the support of grassroots organizations like these and the endorsement of so many individual voters gives me a real boost. It helps build my strength for the tough battle ahead against David Dreier.
As many of you already know, I am fortunate to be running uncontested in the upcoming June 8 primary. This has provided me with the opportunity to reserve my campaign funds and my energy for the difficult battle ahead in November.
That's why I am asking you once again to please consider contributing $250, $500, $1,000, or whatever you can afford, to my campaign today. The first quarterly financial filing period is upon us, and I want to send a clear message to David Dreier that I am very serious about his retirement after nearly 30 years in Congress.
Campaigns are expensive. In order to inform the voters of this district about Dreier's true character and voting record, including his recent vote against healthcare reform, my goal is to have at least $250,000 cash on hand following the June 8 primary. Please contribute today.
Thank you for your continued encouragement and support.
