So, this is how it starts.
Revolution. The Teabaggers and the right wing have been stirring the pot for quite a while now. Their chants, their protests, their verbal attacks, theirs lies and smears. Their water carrying Fox News.

Now, we have Democrats being threatened and Democratic officials offices and homes being targeted and attacked. Barely a blip on the MSM. (Rachel Maddow the glaring exception)

I just turned on the Tee Vee to hear Eric Cantor's office had been shot at. RRRRIIIIIGGGGHHHHTTTTTT.
So, it dawns on me. They are doing it to themselves for the attention. Then, the dark side thought hit me like a load of bricks.

My concern has always been that some wing nut would hurt the President. Lately, it seemed that a Democratic member of Congress would get hurt. But, NOW, it seems that some loon is going to do in a republican member of Congress and make it look as if some left wing radical did it. Then, instead of normal, free thinking Americans turning on the right, they turn on the left.

Up is down, left is right, black is white.

Confuse, Distort, Control the Message.

The republican way.

1. I've met alot of teabag nuts.
Believe me, they're not smart enough for something like that. They're followers. Period.

2. If anybody learns anything from this episode,
it should be the power of propaganda, when spewed 24/7 non-stop from major outlets like Fox "News."

3. It's not revolution. They are rethug criminals and vandals.
Afraid to show their faces in the light of day.

4. Exactly. A Revolution has to have a cause, a reason, something which must be done - not obstruction
They are for nothing, and in the end that can not sustain a political movement. You can not forever be for nothing.

5. I definitely do not like
where this all seems to be going. I kind of feel the last bit of civility is hanging by a thread. the RW loons have gotten their base so fired up that it doesn't seem like it will take much to push them over the edge.

Is the last voice of reason for the Republican Party really going to end up being David Frum??? Is that who is left? Bush's speech writer??

I have such a hard time understanding all of this pent up rage that seems to be just growing and growing. During the time when Bush was President I don't remember any elected officials yammering on the way the GOP elected officials are currently doing.

don't these people understand how bad any escalation of violence would be for this country? Seriously, do they really really want to go there? What do they think will be accomplished?

6. No, this is how a crime spree starts. And it ends with lots of arrests and resignations.

8. No, there's not that much to it. The bullet was
just a stray bullet falling back down from the sky. From what I've heard it didn't even hit his office, it hit a building that contains the office of his fundraisers or some shit. It's just a false story, not being researched by the "news" people. they are just continuing the false rumor. Surprise, surprise.

9. Despite all the shouting, their message is "do nothing."
Not really a revolution.

10. I've met a few of them around here, and let me tell you they are ALL TALK
these people wouldn't hurt an insect, let alone use a firearm in anger towards a person ( and I'm not even sure they have access to those things ). Pay this no mind...I'm sure there are loonies out there, and we have to keep our guard up against them; most of them are easily-irritated people who see their world and "idea of life" crumbling around them in their own twisted minds

13. There is no real popular support for a revolution ...
To be successful a revolution in this country would require the committed support of eighty percent or more of the population.

My fear is that beating the drum and claiming the Democrats want to turn us into a socialist nation or worse might cause some loon to do something stupid. If this loon manages to hurt or kill a member of Congress the results will be disastrous. Everybody needs to tone down the rhetoric. The world is not going to end because we have changed our heathcare system.

The Republicans need to get over the fact that under Bush the Junior they ran the country like the captain of the Titanic and damn near sank it.

Republicans need to become more bipartisan and work together with Democrats to actually solve the serious problems we face.
