I'm calling bullshit on Republicans receiving threats
There's no way any of them would pass up an opportunity to play the victim.

2. Complete and utter bullshit

The media is complicit in this as well. This nonsense has been going on since the Republicans put Mooselini on the ticket to be the second most powerful person in this country.

That fact alone is cause not to trust a thing these idiot asswipes say.

4. The issue though isn't the threats
The issue is the Incitement of Threats by Republicans and their media spokespeople. No doubt many elected officials get threats on both sides of the aisle. There are lots of strange and crazy people out there. But we don't see Democratic elected officials or "our" media people using this kind of violent imagery.

22. Absolutely.
They can't pretend that the teabagger thuggery isn't happening, so they're trying to paint it as something that happens on both sides rather than a conservative wingnut phenomenon.

8. not completely true. During the days of the Act Up protests things got pretty intense.
Of course the background was different. These were people who needed medical treatment dying from AIDS and their loved ones protesting.

violent rhetoric against Democrats.

15. Think about it. Why would WE be angry?
The bill was passed. The GOP opposition failed and was totally irrelevant. They're nothing but a bunch of losers--even if hypothetically there was some irrationally minded liberal out there prone to rash acts of violence or intimidation, what would his/her beef be? Really.

24. Either that or the teabaggers are too stupid to know who voted for the bill.
It's probably asking too much to expect them to be literate enough to know the difference between "D" & "R" after all.

25. They're pulling a Rove--accuse your enemy of doing EXACTLY what you're doing
Then you nullify the entire debate through absurdity. At least turn it into a "he said, she said" stalemate.
