How are Independents viewing this whole tea party thing?

I don't know any independents so I was wondering if they are as disgusted with the teabaggers as the rest of us are? Have they moved towards supporting Democrats as a result of the all the hateful threats coming from the teabaggers?

I've been disgusted with both parties but the tea partiers and the GOP sheltering of the tea partiers is nauseating
