I made two posts in the last several days that were ill-advised and obnoxious. One had to do with Kucinich getting thrown under the bus, and the other had to do with HCR critics jumping out of windows. In both instances, I was attempting to be funny...but was also in a chippy mood, and so my "humor" contained a twist of the knife.

Both posts, upon reflection, were not funny, and were rude, and made an already cantankerous environment here not one bit better. I apologize to any and all I offended.

Remember the criticsm is entirely disingenuous. The Republicans in 93 proposed a HCR plan (sponsored by Chaffey) which was quite similar to the Senate bill and the one passed. The Shrub suggested individual mandates at one time. Nixon has a health care reform plan similar to the one passed. The health insurance exchanges was a Republican idea.


THe were only against it in an attempt to make it Obama's "Waterloo". Fortunately for the nation, it turned out to be THEIR "Waterloo"!
