The 2008 Presidential elections must be suspended,
and the suspension must be announced immediately. The very prospect that someone other than a diehard Neocon hawk might take power in America sends the wrong signal to the terrorists. If they think a weak-kneed, Frenchified Democrat might be elected, they will just plan to outwait the American war effort, secure in the belief that the cowardly American people will soon put a bunch of milquetoast liberal, peace-at-any-price squawking chickens in charge of the coop. Furthermore, only a traitor hoping to give aid and comfort to the enemy would permit America to be distracted from its Holy Crusade to bring Christian Capitalism to the devil-worshipping Middle East. That, sadly, is the result when our treasonous Congress goes out witch-hunting the fine American patriots like Alberto Gonzales, Monica Goodling, Karl Rove, and even the Emper....uh, President Himself.

You know, the other bookend to 9/11 that will justify the imposition of martial law, the suspension of elections and the deployment of troops on the streets of America. Probably something "nukular" to ramp the Horror-o-Meter up to 11. I've got July '08 penciled in my diary; planning to be way out of any major city that month.

8. Good point. That'll be the one place on the planet...
...guaranteed to be safe. Unless of course, BushCo decide a "tragic sacrifice" is needed to drum up support for the ailing Republican Party (while clearing out some "dead wood"). So St. Paul will be safe as long as Shrub or Cheney are there. Otherwise, all bets are off.
