Teabaggers... Literal future home grown terrorists in our midst
The past few days I have been watching teabagger videos on Youtube. I felt it relevant to post my observations after watching a US congressperson speaking today about a group of teabaggers that assaulted a group of congresspeople due to their race and sexual orientation.

I have come to one inescapable conclusion. These people are dangerous. Many of them compare themselves to the founders of this nation, and proclaim to be prepared to fight a new revolutionary war. This kind of delusion and self grander can easily be used as motivation to commit acts of violence and treason. For example, I watched one Youtube video in which a teabagger claims to have written a letter to an Army general asking him to use the armed forces to remove our current government.

It seems that many of them are latching on to current issues troubling the nation and claim to have all the answers to solve these problems. Particularly they are latching on to economic issues. Many of them seem to want a full scale collapse as they believe it will be an event that will cause the masses to rise up and seek them out for answers.

They seem to be hard right wingers. I am not talking your typical right wing republican either. Many of them don't come right out and say it, but you can tell by observing various subtle undertones as they speak in these videos. They are definitely extremely hostile to anyone who is not white, christian, male, and heterosexual.

I almost never use this term - but many of them are losers. There is no other way to put it. Teabagger after teabagger video continued to focus on their own personal failures in life as the source of their unhappiness. It is clear that almost all of them are failures due to their own selfish actions. One of them was in to flipping houses for profit and lost everything. One of them, who simply doesn't like working, blames the current system for the fact he is broke. One of them (who appears to be in his 40's) appears to still live at home with his parents and blames the current system for the reason he can't support himself. While all of this may be somewhat amusing if anything it should demonstrate these people are even more dangerous. The reason being they have little to lose, are failures in life, and seek to blame everyone else. A dangerous combination.

The fact is these people are not patriots. They have nothing in common with the founders of this nation. They are miserable failures, and I sure as hell can promise they don't have the answers to all our problems. Unfortunately they have convinced other losers that they do. This entire teaparty "movement" can be described as a case of right wing losers leading other right wing losers.

Like most losers they have little to say other than "let the system crash". They never offer any other solutions in any of these videos. They have no positive thoughts. They are extremely bitter miserable people.

I have watched a large number of teabagger videos. In all of these videos I have not seen one teabagger who fits any description other than the above.

I don't know if anyone else has shared these observations?

5. all I know is
I cannot take seriously anyone who stayed silent while bush wiped his ass with the Constitution, then started wailing like babies as soon as a black president was elected - to me, they are like cockroaches when you turn the lights on

7. Exactly the observations in "Republican Gomorrah"
Being a "loser" is the admission ticket to this party. That's why they loved Bush and they love Palin. You gotta flaunt your incompetence, be proud of it.

Blumenthal (the author) heavily quotes Erich Fromm's "Escape from Freedom". These people cannot negotiate the world on their own. They are the exact opposite of the tough guys they pretend to be. What they really want is to submit to some authority figure who will sanction their violence against "the other".

Its no accident that James Dobson is a psychologist. Its no accident that all these Christianist cults emphasize brutalizing children from infancy. The whole operation is a "how to" guide for creating a violent, authoritarian state.
