SO MR. PRESIDENT, WHEN YOU SAY YOU ARE SENDING 50,000 MORE TROOPS TO AFGHANISTAN, WHAT YOU'RE REALLY SAYING IS THAT YOU ARE CONDEMNING 7,500 YOUNG AMERICANS TO LIVE FOR THE REST OF THEIR LIVES WITH BRAIN DAMAGE.


...THAT KIND OF ECONOMIC DAMAGE IS SOMETHING THAT COULD NOT HAVE POSSIBLY BEEN ACCOMPLISHED BY AL QAEDA THEMSELVES, OSAMA BIN LADEN'S BEST DAY COULDN'T HAVE DONE ANYTHING LIKE THAT..."

Stands up and tells the truth, messages effectively, and does not care who likes it. Could be why he raised the most money in the last FEC filing period and has a whopping lead in his district (conservative district, at that) even among Republicans. They all need to take a page out of his playbook.
