Republicans should be careful with these "I knew but couldn't tell" revelations
They seem to completely blow their treasured "The whole world had the same intelligence we had!" meme right out of the water, doesn't it? Unless, of course, you consider that the only two countries who actually took part in the "coalition" were the two who cooked the intel in the first place. But either way, it seems to make their whole house of cards that much closer to collapse.

2. Yes and so should Democrats.
I really want to know WHY some of the Dems voted Yes, particularly any 08 Presidential primary candidates. I'm not going to be put off by an apology. The way they made their decision could bring about another war...say in Iran... and I think the voters are entitled to more than an effort that is in its effect a stonewall.

3. That whole I knew but couldn't tell crap is on of the intelligence world oxymorons
Anyone who served in military intelligence will start talking big about what they know but can't tell or they would have to kill you.

I have two brothers who pull this shit at every family gathering. I simply quit going to family events.

4. Actually, it supports the "whole world had the same intel".
Because the whole world was telling us there were no WMDs, there was no Al Queda link, etc.

They just pretended the whole world was NOT saying that, to support what they were NOT telling us.
