Should Political Pundits have term limits?
Think about it... Pundits like George Wills, Cokie Roberts, Sam Donaldson, Wolf Blitzer, David Brooks, and many more have driven the media political narrative for years.

Once you enter the Village you have a lifetime membership.

6. Right now they're only there for old farts who crave familiarity
while the rest of us moved on a very long time ago. They're all getting on in years and retirement will be soon.

That's the best thing about any right wing movement, its inherent expiration date as all the brash, young Turks turn into querulous old folks.

The same thing is happening to the religious reich, the old guard is aging and dying off and their heirs are interested only in milking the cash cow.

2. not term limits, per se, just that as soon as they stop speaking the truth
they are shown the door.

3. Well, I suppose someone could remind them of their more egregious howlers
But nobody gets into the club who remembers stuff, so we're kind of stuck with these nitwits who reassure each other what sages they are. Sometimes I think there is literally nothing they can't say, no whopper too big, no judgment so murderously incorrect, that they won't be back the next week to have another go at it.

4. I wonder if they realize what people really think of them
Right wing wackos think all these pundits are flaming liberals.

Most real Democrats and liberals think they're pompous, out of touch asshats.

The segment of the population that gives a rats ass what they say is very small.

They really are speaking to nobody but themselves.

If we ignore them maybe they'll go away.
