Whirlpool: Taking Tax Dollars, Taking Jobs

"It can barely get greedier than this: We're in tough economic times, so Whirlpool receives $19 million in taxpayer funds to create jobs. Then it turns around and announces it will shutter its Evansville, Indiana refrigerator plant and displace the 1,100 workers there."

2. Just as with TARP, *WHY* don't we have restrictions on these payouts?
As in - you can ONLY use the money to CREATE jobs and you are NOT allowed to offshore for 5 years - or something.
