Those who know better, and yet stand by silently and allow wrongdoing to not only go on... but gain a Govt seal of approval, are aiding and abetting the crimes perpetrated against the people who elected them.

I have to agree with Krugman that no financial reform bill is better than one hopelessly 'watered down' which will have no impact that can be classified as 'reform.'

Elections are coming and incumbents have a lot to explain if they want to be reelected. Failing to call out those who have blocked financial and healthcare reform, and make them vote on it, will likely have serious consequences for them.

1. "Thank" Rahm
Exposing democrats who are leveraging GOP obstructionism for their own ends is apparently a "retarded" strategy.

3. You don't have to be a Party Leader to force a vote on these matters....
Losing is a matter of perspective.

IF you force a vote on real reform and make the opponents vote on the record you might not prevail in that vote, but you sure have a powerful weapon to use against them in their reelection campaigns.
