Where do we stand right now?

What is the status of at least a government health insurance option for all?
Medicare at 55?

Sure the President makes Repugs look bad but I didn't hear one word of these at the so-called "health summit.

5. Where do we stand ? .... We stand right here, Right now ...
"There is nothing wrong with your television set. Do not attempt to adjust the picture. We are in control of the transmission. If we wish to make it louder, we will turn up the volume. If we want it softer, we will turn it down. We control the horizontal and the vertical. We can alter the internal linkfocus, to sharpen or distort the picture. For the next 1056 days, we will control all that you see and hear. Believe me, there is nothing wrong with your television set. You are about to take an adventure. You are about to experience the awe which is associated with a journey to - The Outer Limits of Credibility."

Or

Call these sell outs, Let them know that you know and that they WILL be held accountable
for any sham HCR bill that these Majority Democrats pass.

Also remind them that you KNOW who is in charge and to STOP plying the Republican Card.

We either stop them before they pull the trigger on this, Killing our party
and going down to oblivion or we win, No third choice available.
There will not be another chance for this generation or Possibly any generation if
they are allowed to pimp us out in this way.

Public Option with Single Payer is the ONLY true fix for HCR in our life times.

6. It's all a matter of whose hand is holding the plug when it gets pulled
I would expect the House to want to wait for the Senate to pass a bill by reconciliation that "fixes" the things the House doesn't like about the Senate bill. I would expect that the Senate wants the House to pass its bill on the vague promise of a fix bill, without specifying what's going to be in it.

Permanent stalemate is what I expect to see, with the House and the Senate each blaming the other side for not acting in good faith.
