Fox guest blames Obama for rise in domestic violence

A conservative talk show host says President Barack Obama is "partly" to blame for a rise in domestic violence because of the deteriorating job situation over the past year -- and because the president has criticized Las Vegas.

In discussion on Fox News about Sen. Harry Reid's comment Monday linking unemployment to growing domestic abuse, James Harris told host Gretchen Carlson:

"If this is all about jobs, we have this massive job loss and ... we have domestic violence problems in Nevada, what we need to do is lay this right at the feet of Obama, who in the last year twice slammed Nevada, slammed Las Vegas, so we can say that this is partly Obama's fault for causing so much job loss in Nevada."

1. I'm not very smart so please explain that statement to me
That radio show host makes no sense to me, buy what do I know? I'm just some stupid, liberal, Union member working stiff. Oh wait, never mind. It has to do with the fact that republicans refuse to take responsibilty for anything unless it's a success and the fact that, (whispering) Obama is black! Gasp!

5. I know
But lets face it, the right is concerned about his race. I meant nothing offensive by my remark. I am also tired of having to explain evrything I post in here so it may be time to take a break.

3. There is smart--and then there is RW-shill conservative talk host show thinking.
If the latter EVER starts to seem logical, run for the hills.

4. Obama has said that those who wish to save money, for example students,
should not blow it in Vegas. Like the broccoli comment by George sr or the beef comment by Oprah, merchants who feel it is a non-endorsements for Las Vegas, have spoke out against anything that would discourage anyone from spending money to excess in their city. That's one of the many slams and ankle biting attacks on anyone who would bring responsibility into the national rhetoric. That's all.

and their pundits stirring up the hate. Wow they will try to get anything by. I thought I actually heard the murder rate dropped considerably in the last year.

10. Over the past YEAR? This was caused Bush, Obama is trying to keep the ship from sinking.
They completely fubar the economy and blame the people trying to fix it.

-But I guess we knew that'd happen.
