i don't think bigotry should be tolerated in any form, and i think it's a particular problem in the military.
the only colors they should see and care about are red, white, and blue.

Don't go throwing anyone out of the military. If they want to be there, and they want to live the military life, then by all means let them. Because I certainly am not. Now, if you can replace every one of them you want to throw out, then feel free. But don't expect me or mine to take their place.

Even for people who are ignorant about the need for gay rights, though, you'd think that would be a sufficiently convincing argument. I don't know why they don't get that. :(
