So how long now before "Al Qaeda" magically appears
in every fucking country that has a supply of uranium?

You know damn well it's gonna happen.

Fuck this nuclear bullshit. Fuck the radioactive waste. Fuck another century of wars to steal someone else's resources.

We need energy that comes from sources that NOBODY FUCKING "OWNS". Wind...solar....geothermal...cow farts...whatever.

It's the 21st century. Let's start acting like it.

2. Nuclear needs to go away regardless.
Between the wars for uranium and the waste problem, it simply makes no fucking sense at all to waste time with this bullshit.

4. Thank you some guy on the internet for telling me nuclear makes no sense
did you see that thread on the greatest page today from DU member statistical about why it does make sense?

But hey, if you want to invent some magic technology that we can use to replace nuclear with renewables please by all means get right to it, I think there might even be a nobel prize in it for ya.

6. Thank you paid nuclear industry shill for telling me how wonderful nuclear power is
Will you be the first one to sign up for the military when we invade a uranium rich country?

Or volunteer your basement/backyard for a nuclear waste dump?

And thank you for not addressing any of my points. Much easier to make absolutely absurd and idiotic accusations, isn't it?

17. They can 'breed' a verity of nuclear materials, including the stuff needed for bombs
There is nothing good that can't be made bad.

Also look up Pebble Reactors. There is a lot new technology in the nuclear field.

8. Nah, there's still more no. 2s out there
President/Imperator Bush, Palin, Romney or whichever Bushie Puppet is next on the throne will start revving that program back up.

Some marketing genius had some focus groups and discovered that no. 2 is the highest number you can claim to catch and have people forget so you can catch another no. 2. They must have focus groupped that saying no.1 would stick in people's minds and therefore not provide required Plausible Deniability and thus an unacceptable number of people may start questioning the Big Lie.
