Toyota sits on reports about brake issues and allows Americans to die. That is repeated murder with a depraved indifference stipulation. Toyota of America deserves the death penalty or life in prison.

The problem with 'executing' the corporation, ie. dissolving it by revocation of its charter, etc., is that this does serious damage to workers and share-holders, who bear no responsibility in most cases for the criminal acts, which are always the result of management decisions, for which the board is responsible. Doing real harm to the persons of the agents of the corporation will do more to deter and to right criminal corporate behavior, with a minimum of damage to the mass of stake-holders in the enterprise.

Is a corporation with a new board the same corporate entity or an offspring of the previous entity? There really needs to be an attempt to properly define exactly what kind of entity a corporation truly is and then laws and regulations can be properly enforced.
