Beginning March 13th, we will erect a tent city on the grounds of the Washington Monument to house, feed and otherwise care for everyone who participates and needs a place to stay.

Your commitment can range from the entire action: Until our demands are met; or any other chunk of time that you are available.

Acts of civil resistance will begin on Monday, March 22nd and we will end when the troops start to come home.

25. I want to go and I can partially afford it. I've spent some time with

Cindy and her sister DeDe at Camp Casey when she was giving the shrub a well-deserved hard time.

I made it to DC for the President's inauguration but accomplished that through several steps: Helped mom and dad move to North Carolina; proceeded to Hampton Roads, VA, to stay with a friend while I took care of some personal business; to the Inauguration from there. However, last March I concluded my business in VA and returned to Texas. So, this time, as much as I want to go, it will be more difficult as it involves a cross-country trip. But, I've been keeping open the possibility of making this event open since the first email I got on it.

My job requires only that I have access to the Internet from my laptop. That is a problem I would have to overcome. I bet they will have made arrangements for that.

30. I'm going to do some serious studying on this. Since I could conceivably stay

for the entire action, I would need to make some arrangements here at home to prepare for my absense. I should know very soon if I can pull this off.

As for raising funds, that would have to be approved by the Admins. We'll cross that bridge if we come to it.

Thanks for bringing this to the wider community's attention. Hopefully there will be lots of DUers closer that will be able to attend this action.
