Throughout Bill Clinton's ordeal...

...not one word about how much the procedure costs.

I wonder why?

1. um, because most people know approx. what a stent costs?
Edited on Fri Feb-12-10 09:48 PM by pitohui
its an unfortunate reality that most of us have had this procedure done to ourselves or have known multiple friends and family members who have had to have it done

getting stents is a life-saving procedure, and in our aging population, it's a v. common one -- it's my opinion that bypass surgery/stents is the reason that people live far longer w. cardiac disease than they did just 40 yrs ago -- i do not believe eating the magic food or drinking pomegranate juice makes any difference -- it's these surgeries that are saving so many lives

i read a silly book where bill clinton lives to be 109, and i hope he does!!!! he is doing much good in the world

And PS, he can afford whatever it costs.

3. Medical procedures such as this...
Edited on Fri Feb-12-10 09:51 PM by SHRED

...are for those covered.
The rest can die.

Clinton can "afford it" because we are paying for it.

More public awareness of cost would speed health care reform ...IMHO.

8. Here: Bill isn't alone, and money has nothing to do with it, or
people aren't being denied care because they're not rich, or 'Bill'.
