7. He's the guy who should have got the job
when Gov. Ritter gave it to the unknown Bennett. We were all pissed. Andrew is a terrific person.

i don't trust his polls. he seems to be a died-in-the-wool rightie and, imo, is not impartial. also, he's a columnist at worldnetdaily and the wsj. what does nate silver say?

4. don't be silly, "electable" doesn't mean "has better chances of winning," but "is more conservative"
because the conservadems have redefined the word in accordance with their theories
just as "democratic country" means "agrees with the CIA," not "the party with more votes gets into power" (see: Ukraine, Palestine, Chile)

6. Well Andrew Romanoff is definately not a conservadem
He is running, without taking corporate PAC money. Michael Bennett, however, did joing Evan Bayh's gang of conservadems back in February. He also voted against the "cram-down" aspect of the housing legislation.

9. that's why I donate Romanoff (even though I'm underemployed and focusing on House races)
just commenting on the conservadems' Orwellian perspective (how they say that anyone against the war or for Medicare for All is "a third of a third," or "lunatic fringe")

12. Obama and "Big Money" Dems should STAY THE HECK OUT of our Primary!!!
Edited on Fri Feb-05-10 04:26 PM by Krashkopf
Romanoff is very popular in Colorado, and he would beat Bennet handily in fair primary election. But Bennet, a corporatist (he made millions working as an aide for gazillionaire Phil Anschutz), who was appointed by Gov. Ridder to fill Ken Salazar's seat, has now been "annointed" by the Democratic estabishment to be the Democratic candidate in the fall.

Bennet, has raised over $3 million (in mostly Corporate, out-of-state, contributions) compared to Romanoff, who refuses to take Corporate contributions, and who has raised about $750,000 mostly from individual Coloradoans.

I sent an e-mail to Pat Waak, our State Democratic Chair, and told her to tell President Obama . . . I JUST GOT A BENNET ROBO CALL AS I WAS TYPING THIS! . . . and the rest of the "big money" to stay out of our primary and to let US decide who we want to represent us in the fall!
