1. Hasn't he made enough excuses for himself already?
I've counted four or five "explanations" for O'Keefe and his merry band's activities, ranging from wanting to catch Sen. Landrieu talking bad about her constituents to checking her office phone system. Maybe this is a new cottage industry for the Nitwit Brigade: Justify James!

2. We spent all this time on issues of national security
and now when one fo their heroes fucks with a federal building, they want to walk away form all that shit?

Fuck that noise. Throw the little prick into Leavenworth.

3. Excellent point...
...and it will be a fitting rejoinder to anyone from the right who tries to justify O'Keefe and his gang. It's the right wing who claims to be all about our national security, who makes hay every time a related issue comes up (Christmas bomber, anyone?) -- yet it is the very same people who want to pooh-pooh the seriousness when four young men use false pretenses to gain access to a sitting Senator's office in a Federal building, for the purpose of tampering with their phone.

Of course, if the charge of hypocrisy could shame these folks, they'd already be unable to show their faces in public. Unfortunately, they are sociopaths over and above being hypocrites, so it is no surprise that we do not see any such effect.

4. I've already used it multiple times.
And will continue to do so.

5. They are possibly hurting O'Keefe, not helping him.
Theory: The more (support) exposure O'Keefe gets, the bigger the reaction formation (against him and what he did).
