Several THOUSAND can't get into Coakley event while Fake News cackles over "empty seats"

Fox News falsely claims: Coakley rally has plenty of empty seats
By scarce Monday Jan 18, 2010 12:00pm

According to Fox's veteran propagandist reporter Carl Cameron, the rally Sunday with President Obama for Senate candidate Martha Coakley was ill-attended, with plenty of empty seats. That bit of "news" would no doubt surprise the several thousand who could not get in to the full to capacity event. Or the 500 who had to sit in the overflow room.

The line, running around several blocks all the way down Huntington Ave.

1. My daughter and nephew couldn't get in
and they were in line at 9:30 am. Even the overflow room was, well, overflowing.

Fox News = lies, damned lies and idiots.

4. Yup, the line was blocks long and many of my co-volunteers couldn't get in.
Of course, Brown supporters were there too heckling the President. Too bad those seats couldn't have gone to supporters instead of Brown Shirts.

8. Exactly right...
...if you take a look at the Fox News home page right now you will see some heavy-duty "Tokyo Rose-style" propaganda.

Tokyo Rose: "Hey, G.I., your wife is at home screwing the mailman while you fight a losing war."

Fox: "Hey, Democrats, Brown is winning and not even your president can stop him."

Different decade, same cheerleaders.

6. Maybe they were using footage of the filled 50K seats
that were filled to capacity during Glenn Beck's "2 million man march" ...

9. I have said all along the M$M has made this a close race
It is another case of repeat it enough times, it becomes reality.

False News (FOX) is the best at this and they are real good at goading the other less evil networks into following them down that road of truthiness.

12. Seems pretty clear to me that Coakley will have more voters vote for her.
But it would perhaps be more useful to find some way to bribe LHS Associates, the company with "a dubious, criminal background which sells, services and programs" the eminently hackable Diebold scanners that are being used to count the vote. The fact is, whoever wins in MA, can rightly claim that the outcome is impossible to verify. In other words, there's no way to know who really won. The voting machine read-outs will be quite clear I'm sure. It's just that they are more or less meaningless.

14. Is this for Coakley or is this for Obama?
I'm still amazed by the thing in Germany in 2008, that that many people would come out to see another country's presidential CANDIDATE. Not even candidate I guess, a party's NOMINEE.
