Idoan geddit. "Senator Centerfold"?

Maybe it is getting some mentions and some traction, but I hear almost nothing about it.

It would be a deal-killer if he were a Dem.

Just curious....

1. Let me post a link.
http://www.cosmopolitan.com/celebrity/news/scott-brown-nude-in-cosmo

Those family values will let him by with the pubs.

10. Yeah and I had it at hand because I'd just posted it to a 'pube' on another forum.

8. If it had been a woman
it would have been worth at least 10 points to he in the polls, assuming she was good-looking enough to pose semi-naked in a national magazine.

9. nope. your grossly misjudge the double standard in play
I guarantee you that if Sarah Palin had ever posed semi-nude we never would have seen her as McCain's vp candidate.

13. I disagree
Palin's looks helped her. A similar photo (no pubic hair, no nipples) would have rallied her base, and various perverts as well.

The real double standard is that it's OK if a Republican does it. A Democrat who had posed as Brown has would have had the God corps at Fox on him 24-7.

12. There is a political rule: If you have something in your past that is
ngeative, get it out early with your own explanation to
the people. Very often this works.

The"centerfold" is becoming old news. I have seen it
on every Tv Channel. If the people were going to react
negatively, it would have happened much earlier.

Fairly or unfairly, most people see this probably as
a TeenAge stunt which he might have not done had he
considered a Political Career. Most people at that
age do think careers. for good or bad.

I am not defending Brown just explaining what I have
picked up aound and about.

Also, the country is so heated and overwrought with
real concerns, this sort of thing becomes so what.
If the country was going gangbusters financially
and the HCR Bill was seen as really really good., with
not many concerns the nitpickers might have jumped this
with gusto and tried to make it a terrible thing.
