Iglesias called in.

OMG! This shit is just so shocking, if you didn't catch the first broadcast of Hardball, make sure to catch the rebroadcast.

9. Catch it on the turn around at 7:00 pm est if you can.

Iglesias was on for most of the show.

He said that Monica "holds the keys to the kingdom".

He also believes that the investigation of Rove is a result of his complaint re: Hatch Act.

He also said that the call from Senator Domenici was undue political influence.

11. Thank you.
Gandhi said that we all endure some amount of tyranny in our lives. I think of that now that my wife and daughters demand use of the tv at 7-9 pm several nights per week.

I appreciate you telling us what the segment was about. I will see it eventually.

13. I can't get over the delicious irony of "Monica" being a potential threat
to these lying, murdering, cheating, thieving scumbags.

Thanks for the details. Sounds juicy.

10. I Read Here This AM, That Today Tweety Is Posing As A Dem
Tomorrow he'll be back to his RW talking points, but I'm assuming he treated Iglesias fairly, and didn't attack him or spew BS reasons he might have been terminated.

14. He tried.
His questions were, at the very best, simple minded and a little offensive, without the characteristic crotch worship that he usually reserves for republickers. Not a bit sympathetic or calculated to go after real information, merely to demonstrate his own superiority.

15. Actually Tweety could have done a better job.
He did not act like the attorney that he is not. I thought Tweety was overly careful with his questions - perhaps a little protective of the Justice Department and White House. On the other hand, Tweety's producers may have made an agreement with David that the questions would not be too pointed.

I kept reminding myself during the show that David is, after all, still a Repub.

Now that I have typed the above I realize that nothing Tweety or David said would have made me completely happy unless it was a total gotcha that would lead to Alberto's impeachment.

The most I will subject myself to, is the 60-120 seconds leading up to when Countdown starts.
