Total Recall
I don't know how many of you remember when it came out. That image of the Main Character running through the scanners showing the skeleton (and anything hidden) well don't know about you, I had a cold chill run down my back. Then I went this is Sci Fi... not in my lifetime.. WRONG.

SO how much more will come to real life and chiefly accepted?

I wonder.

1. I'm waiting for the flying car that folds up into a briefcase.
And transporters and holodecks too....

2. Transporters, they have had a proof of concept
but with very small ammounts of matter. The math problems and causality problems are just huge.

The holodecks... you could argue they're partially here already... a high end computer with VR glasses if you want to push it. And there is some experimentation on to that.

I keep up with this shit.

:-)

4. You are right and that movie had way too many inside jokes
that are down right scary.

5. Oh, I love 80s Arnold.
"Consider this a divorce." Predator, Commando, Raw Deal, Running Man, Twins, Kindergarten Cop, Terminator.

Science Fiction will almost always become science fact. Our technological evolution runs so quickly now. I wonder what our world will look like in 100 years.

6. It runs so fast that I know few sci fi writers that now deal
with the tech... now social commentary, by all means
