Buzzflash is my homepage
I use it as a daily clearinghouse to important news stories I need to spend time reading (and Buzzflash's list always differs greatly from MSNBC's and CNN's). Then I go to other websites, like DU, to get folks' opinions to those stories. I also read Buzzflash's editorials, and I love its interviews.

Buzzflash doesn't use a hearts and flowers donation drive. It's gimmick is simply to ask. Please donate to Buzzflash. Even $5.00 will help.

4. It is a great site
You will get a lot out of it.

I am somewhat surprised that you were not aware of it.

Any time you need a laugh, wander over to the "Lighter Side" (lower right).

While you are at it, check out www.smirkingchimp.com .

Political essays for smart people.

Have a great weekend, q e.

3. I find the format way to busy. It's tough to focus on any one item.

5. Take a deep breath.
Shift gears.

In Marketing, we call it the 2 second read.

Slow down and read.

There is a lot of cool stuff on that site.

Just shift gears and enjoy.

If I weren't so goddamned drunk, I would probably make a better case.

I found DU thru Buzzflash.

7. The very best of the news sites.
Not just the headlines, but very helpful in digging out revealing nuggets from the middle paragraph of a story that gets page A-19 placing in the NYT or only appears in the foreign press. People who aren't sure they want to donate might want to look at the st "Store" page to buy some worthwhile books, videos or music. Yeah you can save a buck or two by doing a search, but then reflect on but who benefits.

10. They always have killer interviews, too
In addition to the news headlines they compile daily, they also write a lot of original content and have interviewed real hard-hitters. They always give reviews of the products they promote and often have author interviews as well.

8. Buzzflash.net is pretty cool too
It's separate from Buzzflash.com, in that it centers on user-submitted content.

http://www.buzzflash.net

Buzzflash was one of the very first progressive sites I ever checked out, and it's pretty good. Though I am partial since I've had at least two of my own blog entries linked on the front page. I will say that a front page link does generate a ton of hits.

12. Thanks for posting this...Progressive Movement couldn' t have survived without Buzzflash News
along with "Media Whores Online," "Bart Cop" and "Salon" in the first days coming out AGAINST THE STOLEN 2000 ELECTION!

Buzzflash deserves every Nicle and Dime and ABOVE to keep it going. They are used by folks all over the web and as one of the Ground Breaking Progressive Sites...(when we were in Wilderness) WE NEED TO SUPPORT THEM.

$5:00 or MORE. They are getting hurt badly because the DVD's they sell for Progressives are being distrancted by "You Tube" and "Netflix" and others allowing you to view or rent WITHOUT BUYING! Buzz sells their products to get donations...but changing market of Progressives is that they can't afford to BUSY and need to RENT.

That's WHY we need to send BUZZ some ***CASH***. They can't compete with Netflix and other liberal sites for Liberal/Progressive Blockbuster Documenatries that the MS Corporate Media REFUSES to show... but are NOW becoming more popular as rentals.

BUZZ needs HELP!
